The Lesser Yellowlegs, Tringa flavipes, is a common migrant through the Delaware Watershed in both spring and fall. This image is from the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, where seasonal lowering of the water creates perfect habitat for migrating shorebirds. |
